BIG MOVE
On Saturday when Corey woke up he asked me if I would like to move the bedroom back into the master bedroom. I have been spending a lot of time in the bedroom reading my books and watching some t.v. I told Corey that we could move the house around if the bedroom furniture looked fine with the paint. I have just finished painting the house and we choose the paint in the other room according to the furniture. We brought in a night stand and it looked good so we spent Saturday and Sunday moving the house around. We also moved the computer into the basement along with my scrapbook room. The one thing that I really like about being back in the master bedroom is for the big walk in closet. I had kicked Corey out of the closet to make more room for me! I was also afraid to purchase more clothes since I didn't have more room for them!

BUSY, BUSY, BEES...
Corey and I have had a really good weekend but very busy. We didn't think we were going to be having our Bible Study group because the guy Jon who leads it his wife was due to have their baby on Tuesday. He called us and told us that they hadn't had the baby yet but wondered if we would like to come over and play games. So, we were there from 7:30 until 10:30. Corey also informed me when I picked him up from work that we were going to be having company. Corey's Uncle Ron, Aunt Lori and their friend Aaron. They were going to be in a Bike competition on Sunday and asked if they could stay at our house. We really enjoy spending time with them so this was a wonderful surprise. Saturday morning we spent cleaning the house since it really need it and we did some grocery shopping and we picked up a few snacks for when they would be here. They arrived around 2:30 and we hung out and Looked at Lori's new laptop and Microsoft Streets & Trips program. We have the 2005 version. We were actually able to make a copy of it so that we could have the 2007 version. They left around 3:30 to go and register for their race and we go ready for the next part of our day. We were invited to a Fund raiser dinner with a silent and live auction, for my friend Jen's son's Private School. We met Jen and Gary for 4:30 to go and look at all of the items to bid on. We had a really good dinner and then after there were a few minutes to go and look at the items again to see if you were winning or not. There was one thing that I would have liked to get but didn't. There was this huge stash of Creative Memories things. It was worth well over $200.00. At the last time I saw it it was at $90. I asked Corey if I could bid on it and he said whatever I wanted. So, when I went back there were a bunch of girls standing in front of it blocking the bid sheet and I am sure that whatever I would have bid they would have just but in another one. So needless to say I didn't get it. The only problem if I got it was that I had a lot of the tools already. Then they did the live auction which was pretty good. The items went for way to much then what we would have spent. But for example they did go for an amazing price. They had a week at a cottage for 6 people or one family and it went for $500.00! It was deferentially worth more then that. We had told Ron, Lori and Aaron that we would probably be back for around 8:00. Corey called them at 7:45 to tell them that we were going to later and to go ahead into the house. Lori and Aaron were sitting out on the deck watching a movie on the laptop and Ron was having a nap in their truck! When we got home around 10:00 we played 2 games of Settlers and ended up going to bed around 1:00! Today Corey and I went for a hike at Rattle Snake Point. The weather was so nice. We need to get used to hiking a lot since on our trip to Alberta we will be doing a lot of hiking. Now we are having BBQ with Vanessa and we will be playing games.

BREAKAWAY DAY
I was invited to Waterloo 4's Breakaway Day. The one scheduled event was to do the personality test "Colours" The last time I did this test was back in High school. When I did it the last time I was a combination of Blue and Green. Today when I completed the test I was Gold and Blue. I guess over time people change. Some of the things that make me Gold are...plans ahead, reliable and loyal, serves others, helpful, someone to be trusted, likes rules, respects leaders, patient and works well with others. Some of the things that make me Blue are...like most people, makes a good impression, supportive, honest, cares about people and thinks positively. I enjoyed doing the tests to find out how I can relate what I have learned about myself to my work environment. This would be a good thing to do with the Day Program Team.

WHAT ARE THEY THINKING...?
Today while the rest of the city had Easter Monday off perhaps the most important day surrounding Easter, Christian Horizons required their staff to go to work at the office. Our Day Program made the best of it, we took a trip to IKEA. I guess you left to early Dan, Josh took your place today. We always had such good times there together with the guys! Corey and I didn't do anything that wonderful for Easter. Saturday we did our taxes at my brother Craig's and stayed and played a game. Sunday we went to Church and had an Easter pancake breakfast. We had a surprise, my other brother Brad and his girlfriend Liz came to Church. We gorged ourselves at my Aunt Grace's place at dinner, well, maybe not so much me but Corey! We ended the weekend by playing Settlers at Craig's. If nothing else it was a relaxing weekend.
